PROJECTS
The CTC Region currently has 13 business and tech parks under way that contain approximately 3,300 acres, eight tech buildings containing 490,000 square feet of space, and nearly 7,200 upscale housing units in design or under construction.
PARTNERS/DIRECTORY
The CTC Board of Directors is composed of the Economic Development Authories and the Region one and Region Four Planning and Development Councils of 11 counties which are Mercer, Mcdowell, Monroe, Wyoming, Raleigh, Summers, Fayette, Greenbrier, Nicholas, Pocahontas, and Webster. To date, funding has been from the private sector, including Verzion, Frontier, and the Benedum Foundation. CTC has also partnered with colleges and universities, and the workforce region serving this area.
NEWS/EVENTS
Not only has CTC worked to insure Broadband availability at it's tech parks and building, CTC has also assisted many small rural areas in DSL deployment by the internet services providers. Recently, DSL as been deployed in Ronceverte, Meadow Bridge, and Talcott.
